We have several types of volunteer members at the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department. We have firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT's), associate members, and auxiliary members. If you have an interest in becoming a Firefighter / EMT, the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department has what you are looking for. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age and have a strong desire to serve in a physically demanding and fast paced emergency service. In addition, if you are currently a Firefighter / EMT and are considering attending a college or university in the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan area, the Burtonsville Volunteer Fire Department in Montgomery County, Maryland has what you are looking for.
