Mission Statement

The division of police shall endeavor to promote a personalized, proactive partnership between the police and the Oxford community to reduce fear and incidence of crime, and to solve contemporary problems with the goal of improving quality of life for all.

Description

Oxford is located 35 miles northwest of Cincinnati, Ohio, and is the home of Miami University. The Division of Police is committed to a Community Oriented Policing Philosophy and continues to seek new ideas and forums in which to work with the Oxford community to provide the best in policing services.
