Our Mission is to eliminate domestic violence in the Lehigh Valley through empowerment, education, and engagement.

Description

Turning Point is the only non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of domestic violence in the Lehigh Valley. Turning Point educates and supports abuse victims in order to help them discover and tap their own strengths and abilities. By doing so, abuse victims can discover their dignity and walk away from fear, isolation and desperation. All services are provided without regard to race, income, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, ethnicity, or religious affiliation. Since 1978, we have served over 60,000 victims.

I was fortunate to be able to receive help from turning point. The women there are truly heartfelt and willing to help w/any situation you come across. Although I wish I'd met these great people under different circumstances, I would recommend this organization for any women who truly want to make a difference in someone's life. These wonderful people never knew me but saved my life, in more ways than one w/no questions asked. They cared when no one else did or wanted too. If you know of anyone in any abusive situation please get them help, and this is the place to start!
