To ensure advocacy services are provided to residents who do not have a conservator or family to advocate for and with them. We help people with developmental disabilities advocate for themselves and we provide opportunities for self-advocacy.
Mission Statement
Area Board 12 shall protect and advocate the rights of all persons with developmental disabilities. We shall promote the rights of persons with developmental disabilities to live, learn, work and play in their communities with people without disabilities. We shall promote to people with developmental disabilities services, which are continuously improving in quality.

I would recremend a friend or colluge for Area Board 12 state council, for i myself am a member of Areaboard 12 representing Inyo County and am looking online now in finding out of where i can apply for governor's appointee for Inyo County to take the position of Governor's Appointee on the area board 12 for Inyo Couny.
