Description
MDA Nevada serves more than 750 local families living with neuromuscular disease, with a variety of programs and services. Included among these services are: Monthly multi-discipline medical clinic Assistance with the repair of durable medical equipment, such as wheelchairs and leg braces Equipment Loan Program Support Groups & Seminars Summer Camp for children ages 8 - 17 Community resource referrals Volunteers are the backbone of the Association's programs, helping with summer camp, support groups, seminars and many other programs. MDA special events are a fun way to get involved and help raise vital funds for the battle against neuromuscular diseases. MDA of Southern Nevada raises funds and awareness through a variety of programs such as Muscle Walk, Shamrocks Against Dystrophy, Fill the Boot (firefighters), Bowl-a-Thons, golf tournaments, and more.
