Description
Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania is for children to explore and learn about science in a postitive and engaging environment.
Most exhibits in Discovery Space focus on the target age group of 2-12. We have a dedicated space to provide age appropriate hands-on experiences for young children (1-3) and the exhibits and free play areas are engaging for preschool and elementary school age children. Discovery Space is dedicated to serving the surrounding community by participating in community events and by bringing afterschool programming to the local elementary schools. Discovery Space also holds several events throughout the year including those that focus on encouraging girls to participate in STEM activities, as well as extending our activities for middle-school age kids by holding activities after hours at the museum. During the summer, Discovery Space holds several weeks of science-focused camps at the museum.
