Description

Family Reentry Youth Mentor Program provides supportive services to vulnerable youth through a one-to-one mentor match. Volunteer adults are screened, trained and matched to youth based on commonalities and interests. Match support is provided to mentors by program staff throughout the duration of the match.

J-Connect Mentoring offers support to youth involved with the juvenile justice system and who are in need of a strong positive role model. Community visits are scheduled weekly after school or on weekends, with a goal of spending 2 or more hours each week.

Youth Mentoring is a valuable tool in supporting teens who have been identified as at risk. Building a trusting and supportive relationship through mentoring has been linked to positive youth outcomes.
