Mission Statement

Established in 1992, South Florida SPCA Horse Rescue is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, shelter and adoption of abused and neglected horses and farm animals.

The SFSPCA also promotes the welfare of animals, responsible animal care and the value of every life through community education activities.

Description

Since our inception, our organization has rescued over 1,700 horses and other livestock animals, bringing them to safety at our rescue ranch, providing them food, veterinary care and rehabilitation while arranging permanent, loving adoptive homes for them.

Animsl abuse is more common in South Florida than people realize. During these difficult economic times, large animals in our county are in jeopardy of abandonment and starvation. The rescue efforts of the SFSPCA have grown at an alarming rate over the past year, reaching an all-time high.
