The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and services.

Description

The North and East Texas Area of the American Cancer Society is dedicated to servicing cancer patients by providing resources and support with Information, Day to Day Help and Emotional support. We have many programs that help cancer patients and their families continue with their life-saving treatment. Many of these programs would not be possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers. We have an office in Dallas, Fort Worth, and Tyler to support our life-saving mission to Tarrant,Collin, Dallas, Smith and all surrounding counties.
