Mission Statement

The FRIENDS of READ/Orange County is an organization committed to the support of the literacy service of the Orange County Public Library, primarily through resource development, public awareness, and recognition services for volunteers and learners. Through these efforts, the FRIENDS group strives to positively impact the quality of life for all involved - learners, tutors, other volunteers, and the Orange County community.

Description

The FRIENDS Board needs volunteers who are committed to literacy and want to be actively involved to help us achieve our Mission. There is no required minimum financial commitment other than a nominal annual membership fee.
