All viable excess medical supplies and equipment are handled in an environmentally safe manner, promoting recycling through redistribution.
In 2011, HERO kept over 59 tons of usable medical equipment and supplies from disposal in area landfills. HERO recycles through redistribution and provides these supplies to those in need in our local and global communities.
