South Hayward Parish provides three community benefit programs and is looking for volunteers for each.
The Hayward Community Action Network (Hayward CAN) is a collaboration of individuals living on the street and faith, business, law enforcement, and social service communties developing sustainable solutions to end homelessness in Hayward.
The Food Pantry provides canned, fresh, and frozen commodities for individuals and families in need in South Hayward.
The Hayward Day Labor Center facilitates work and empowerment opportunities for adults in the Hayward area and beyond.
