OBJECTIVE: We are creating a movement for social justice by educating the public about the ones we don't know are lost, and empowering families in crisis, law enforcement, and affiliated agencies to utilize our services in an innovative, easy to access delivery system via our interactive website so that anyone from anywhere can access the most advanced information to faciliate location, recovery, and re-unification efforts. Outpost for Hope is a web based 501 c (3) grassroots nonprofit organization run by a handful of volunteers on a shoestring budget for the last 10 years serving the national community and sometimes beyond U.S. borders. Want to help support our efforts? Every donated dollar is significant and appreciated. Visit our website at www.outpostforhope.org to donate online. Thank you!
Mission Statement
MISSION: Outpost for Hope is defining the problem of 'missing, missing persons'; the ones society does not know are lost. We support the efforts of families in crisis, law enforcement and affiliated agencies to locate and provide recovery information that saves lives. We educate society about the misperceptions of mental illness, drug addiction, and homelessness and the ripple effects that touch each one of us. We hope to reduce the stigma about these conditions which create opportunities for people to be lost and for predators to exploit them without anyone noticing. At Outpost for Hope, we believe that every child matters and that no child or endangered adult should ever be invisible, lost, or harmed in any way. VISION: Outpost for Hope envisions a society where accounting for all unreported vulnerable children and adults is made a priority, and where information is made available that eliminates the need to try and identify victims of child pornography, human trafficking and unknown deceased John and Jane Doe persons. Our ultimate hope is for a society where a need for our work does not exist and the exploitation of innocent children and at risk endangered adults no longer occurs.
