CT Folk seeks to educate, entertain, and inspire a diverse audience through music and conversation to create a socially responsible and environmentally sustainable community.

Description

CT Folk strives to transform the view of music as merely a form of entertainment, and to give voice to the spectrum of individuals who use music as a means of reflecting on and promoting social change. Through the traditional and contemporary roots movement, CT Folk works to present music with a universal message that reinforces our community's spirit and integrity. We seek to educate the greater New Haven region with methods of sustainability that will enhance the quality of life in our community and help build a healthy, productive, and meaningful life for all community residents, present and future. Through our efforts with green initiatives, CT Folk provides resources and methods to steward the earth and support the local agricultural community.
