Mission Statement

Help a Child - Be a Mentor! The East Hartford Mentor Program is looking for volunteers to share their time with students who would benefit from the friendship and support of a caring adult. Young people who have a mentor are more likely to stay in school and go on to college, raise their life aspirations, stay away from drugs, seek teacher's trust, help other and avoid fights and other violent behavior.
