Mission Statement
The Retreat is a nonprofit organization, founded in 1988, whose mission is to create awareness about and meet the needs of those affected by violence through intervention and prevention programs on the East End of Long Island.
Description
Domestic violence agency providing safety, shelter and support for victims. Among our services are a 24-hour hotline, an 18-bed shelter, legal advocacy, counseling, information and referral, community education, and outreach.
