AmpleHarvest.org, Inc.

AmpleHarvest.org is a national non-profit diminishing hunger, improving nutrition and helping the environment by connecting gardeners with food pantries in their communities eager to receive their excess harvest.

As of February 2012, AmpleHarvest.org has already registered more than 4,800 food pantries across all 50 states. (See www.AmpleHarvest.org/map to see the big picture.) Some estimates list the total number of pantries in America at around 30,000, so while we've made great strides, there is still alot of work to do.

Our goal is to have food pantries in every town registered nationwide and to educate many more of the over 40 million gardeners so they can learn about their opportunity to share their excess garden produce with their hungry neighbors. To achieve this, we need the help of volunteers in every community across America. Please visit www.AmpleHarvest.org/waystohelp to learn more and take action to diminish hunger while improving the health of those in need of food.

In these challenging times, growers (and others) across America have the opportunity to help their neighbors in need by reaching into their backyards instead of their back pockets.

Thank you for helping to spread the word!
