The NRVP assists the California Department of Fish & Game by providing conservation and enforcement education to the public, patrolling State lands, responding to non-enforcement calls to the DFG, and assisting with administrative duties. You must enjoy the outdoors, have a desire to conserve and protect our wildlife/environmental resources, and be able to devote 24 hours a month to this effort. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the State.
Mission Statement
The mission of NRVP is to provide conservation and enforcement education in public service, through community outreach, State lands monitoring, habitat and pollution awareness, animal welfare and DFG administrative assistance.
