YWCA Northern New Jersey is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting equality for all. We operate healingSPACE, Bergen County’s designated Sexual Violence Resource Center, and are a leading provider of child care and wellness programs. We are headquartered in Bergen County and also serve Essex, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic counties. Celebrating a century of commitment to our communities, we improve the lives of thousands of women, girls, and families with the generous support of our donors.

YWCA Northern New Jersey works to build more just and inclusive communities through programs for women and girls, anti-racism training, and policy advocacy. YWCA Northern New Jersey operates healingSPACE, Bergen County’s designated Sexual Violence Resource Center. healingSPACE offers a 24/7 free and confidential hotline that is available through call or text. The hotline is staffed by trained Confidential Sexual Violence Advocates who can provide support, crisis intervention, information, resources, and referrals as well as respond on medical and legal accompaniments. healingSPACE also offers case management, individual & group counseling, a creative arts program, legal advocacy, and prevention education & community outreach.
