Catholic Charities is a non-profit social service agency serving west central and portions of northern Wisconsin. The agency provides service to all persons in need in five broad areas: Social Services (incl. Counseling, Emergency Aid, Domestic Abuse Prevention) Family Services(incl. Adoption, Pregnancy Counseling, Parent Education) Financial Counseling (including Debt Management, Budgeting, Housing) Legal Services (limited to Migrant & Immigration assistance at present) and Health & Disability Services (In-home support for children with severe emotional disabilities).

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of La Crosse works to: Promote the Dignity of the Human Person, Serve Families and Individuals in Need, and Proclaim Christ's Gospel of Life. Catholic Charities extends its mission throughout west central Wisconsin through compassionate service, support and advocacy to individuals, families, and communities of all faiths and heritages, without regard to race, gender, national origin, age, disability, or economic status. Catholic Charities is called by the Diocesan Bishop to advance the social teachings of the Catholic Church and to promote just human relationships in all structures of society. Catholic Charities seeks to build community along with other service organizations and to work cooperatively for the common good. Catholic Charities shall employ the highest professional standards when providing services and shall adhere to the Code of Ethics of Catholic Charities,U.S.A.
