Mission Statement

Our mission is to reduce the feline overpopulation problem in South Los Angeles through the proven Trap-Neuter-Release program coupled with the socialization and adoption of the felines we catch who are eligible for Charm School.

Description

Are you a cat lover who wants to help homeless cats find a forever home? Are you eager to help kitties learn how great their relationship can be with humans? Do you understand the importance of care to maintain good health for cats? If you are interested in a truly hands on volunteer experience with homeless felines than this is the place for you! Come and join the "teachers" of Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats, Los Angeles' only 100% feral cat socialization facility. Join our family and provide love and care to the felines at our Bungalow. Learn how our organization is working to end the homeless cat population epidemic by participating in TNR (trap/NeuterReturn) the humane way to stave the overpopulation issue. You will need to committ to a 2.5 hour weekly shift for at least 6 months. If you are unable to work on a set schedule for this amount of time, we have additional opportunities in our organization. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScLlFgGzEGcWmMdAIW3V

I want to be able to spread the word and be able to get people to help prevent the problem from spreading. By doing so as I said i want to bring people together so we can not alone help solve the solution but spread joy and happiness while doing so.

I love cats , I have cats of my own and I would like others to experience taking care of animals with me. I'd like to influence them to love cats because as some may see that cats aren't as loved as other animals, I would like to see more cats in homes.

I think it'd be a great experience for me since I want to pursue my career in being a vetenarian and I think that volunteering here would be a great start.

Great opportunity to get involved with a grassroots organization that is solution-oriented. Plus, I get to cuddle kittens every week which is pretty dang fun.

Kitty Bungalow is a wonderful place to volunteer. The time just flies by as I spend time caring for the kittens and their environment.
