Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands is a non-profit, United Way Member Agency. Our goals include public education, awareness, risk reduction and treatment for survivors of sexual assault and abuse. Our services include the following: -Crisis intervention/counseling/hospital accompaniment to sexual assault victims and their families on a 24 hour basis -24-Hour Crisis Line -Legal and Personal Advocacy -Crisis Counseling -Individual Treatment for Survivors of Sexual assault or Abuse. -Support Groups and Group therapy -Family Support -Community Education Presentations -Teacher Trainings and Professional Development
Mission Statement
Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands serves as a clinical, educational and outreach center for sexual abuse and trauma issues through a team of committed professionals and volunteers dedicated to the health and helaing of the total victim through prevention, treatment, and advocacy.
