Junior Achievement is a nationwide non-profit organization which sends business volunteers into kindergarten through 12th grade classrooms to help students understand how business works. Volunteer role models present materials and lessons that are fun and informative for students, while user-friendly for the volunteers themselves.
Mission Statement
The purpose of Junior Achievement is to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. This is achieved by developing the desire in young people to stay in school and appreciate lifelong learning, by fostering positive attitudes toward work, and by creating a partnership that bridges the classroom and workplace.
