Disability Action Center is a small non-profit Center for Independent Living run by and for people with disabilities. We provide information and referral, advocacy, peer counseling, and independent living skills training.
Mission Statement
DAC-NW is a non-profit community partnership working to achieve equality for people with disabilities and to create an accessible and accepting world. Using our collective power we provide advocacy, education and support to: • foster attitudes, policies and environments of equality and choice; • create a supportive and resourceful community of people with disabilities; • and encourage people with disabilities to take personal responsibility and fully participate in society.
