I volunteer as the CATALES newsletter editor for a year now with my co editor, Harley, the feline friend I adopted from CATALES two years ago. I have seen the tireless efforts of everyone who supports CATALES and know their love and concern for the kitties is evident in the lives they care for. From fund raisers to daily care everything that is done is done well and with the sole purpose of saving lives and finding forever homes for each cat and kitten they have rescued and sheltered. The fact that they are a no kill facility is inspiring to me and means that much more work and funding is needed but they remain sure in their goal. It also buys the cats time to find their new homes which I know from experience means a lot to both the cats and the families.

I really enjoy volunteering at CATALES because I get to see the friendly faces of kitties who are grateful they have been rescued. They greet you at the door and are excited for attention. When I hear that one of them has found a forever home through adoption I am so happy...(sometimes brought to tears). It is worth the time volunteering. Plus I have met a lot of wonderful volunteers, who I can now call my friends!

If you are an animal lover and want to give back to those in need Catales is a great place to do that. The facilities is run by volunteers and a woman with a big heart Deb. There are many cats in need in our community and this is a great way to give back and help save as many as when can from bad living conditions and give them nice loving homes. Until they can find their forever home Catales provides them with a nice place to live, food, water, medical needs and of couse LOTS of love. We are always looking for more help. There just isn't enough of us to help so if you have the desire, love cats, and want to help please contact us. :)

Catales, Inc is a small rescue group with a lot of highly motivated individuals. The members are very supportive and encouraging of new ideas. I have volunteered at a couple other rescue groups and did not feel the same acceptance as I do with Catales. The organization is 100% about the cats and all donations and volunteer time goes to caring for the cats. The rescue group really follows their mission statement and everyone is very passionate about helping neglected, abused, homeless cats and does not discriminate just because a cat is "special needs". The group helps all cats and works with the community to help decrease overpopulation and to educate others about responsible animal care. I highly recommend this organization and I know I will continue to volunteer here for as long as I can imagine.
