Civitan International is a non-profit, volunteer service organization based in Birmingham, Alabama. It is dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with intellectual challenges. Civitan International is comprised of member clubs organized in communities across the United States and in 34 countries, all working to make their communities better places to live, through direct hands on projects. Civitan has given me many opportunities to help others, develop my leadership skills, and to meet many great people! I have also enjoyed my travels and had a lot of fun too!
