Benefits for Conference Volunteers
If a volunteer works the full morning session at the registration desk, for example, he or she is welcome to attend sessions in the afternoon at no charge. The same applies to afternoon volunteers, free morning attendance if they work that afternoon. If a volunteer works on only one day of the three-day conference but wants to attend sessions on the other two days, they would have access to all conference sessions on the day he or she works and would pay the daily rate for the days when not volunteering (daily rate TBD). Volunteers are provided with breakfast if they work in the morning or lunch if they work in the afternoon. The conference asks volunteers to allow paid attendees and guests to be seated first and then fill in where there is space.
