Young Detroit Builders works to help young adults by providing support services, education, training, and opportunities for self-development and growth, particularly in the areas of leadership, work competencies, and cultural awareness in order for them to be personally and professionally successful, postive role models for others, and a force in changing their lives, their communities, and their world.

Description

Young Detroit Builders strives to unleash the positive energy of young adults to rebuild their communities and transform their lives through a commitment to work, education, responsibility and community. We are a non-profit organization that provides free GED preparation classes, academic support and residential construction training for Detroit youth who have not completed high school.
