DC ACM

DC ACM was established on November 1, 1958, and is one of the longest running ACM chapters in the nation. We carry out the ACM objectives at the community level, providing opportunities for meaningful connections between academicians, professionals, and policymakers in the computer science and information technology fields. Working in partner with ACM special interest groups (SIGs), DC area technical user groups, and area university Computer Science and Information Technology departments, we provide lectures, events, classes and networking opportunities that bring professionals together.

Mission Statement

DC ACM is where academia and entrepreneurship meet at innovation. Our mission is to provide educational opportunities and academic discussion, to advocate competency, integrity, and craftsmanship in the computing field, and to foster community engagement.
