The Crossings Animal Sanctuary, Inc.

We can best describe ourselves by sharing the objectives contained in our 2012 Strategic plan. They include the following:

1. Continue to implement 4-6 year plan to acquire land, build and operate Bucks County’s first no-kill dog & cat sanctuary
2. Introduce Boris & Natasha’s Fund to provide
   veterinary assistance for homeless dogs & cats
3. Collaborate with other animal rescue organizations
   and shelters to bring adoptable dogs & cats to weekly tabling events
4. Create "CAS for Students", with opportunities for
   community service, graduation projects, and internships
5. Educate the public about (1) No-kill philosophy & the need for Bucks County to have No More Homeless Pets, and (2) America’s Dog, the Pit Bull Terrier
6. Obtain grant funding, develop and implement an "Animal Help Line"
7. Publish four editions of "Finding Sanctuary", our quarterly newsletter
8. Design and successfully implement a development
   plan to generate $300,000 in donations and net proceeds from fundraising events
9. Plan and implement the 3 rd Annual Tail Waggers’ Strut to raise $100,000 of the annual revenue goal, specifically earmarked for the sanctuary
   building fund
10. Create a budget and an investment portfolio for an
    initial $100,000 of Building Fund monies
11. Attract, orient and actively engage an additional
    80 volunteers, including 12 standing committee coordinators, for a total of 120 active volunteers
12. Develop a diverse, actively involved Board of Directors, with fully functioning Board committees and involvement in volunteer committees
13. Achieve a membership of 2,000 community residents and area businesses
14. Forge partnerships with 100-120 local businesses and 10 corporations
15. Increase our visibility in the Bucks County community through effective publicity and public relations
16. Complete staffing, furnishings and decorating for administrative office
