I have been lucky enough to benefit from Together for Education volunteers from the very start. Over the past 7 years I have seen amazing relationships develop between my students and the volunteers. My students reap the benefits of the one on one time with the volunteers and the volunteers leave my classroom with a bigger heart each time. Together for Education makes a significant impact on the lives of eager students every day.

I have been working with my volunteer for 3 years. He's WONDERFUL. He's so great with the kids, and the kids genuinely look forward to when he comes, and on the off chance that he can't come, they already ask when he'll be coming again! TFED really wants to match quality volunteers to teachers to help our students succeed. If you're looking for a great volunteer oportunity in a school, and want to make a difference in the lives of children.... this is the place!

Together for Education is great! It's a very well run organization, and Jen does a fantastic job synching volunteers' schedules to classroom opportunities. The teachers and the kids are genuinely appreciative, and volunteers have the flexibility to help out as little or as much as they are able. I have been doing it for three years and highly recommend it.

TFED is a great organization through which to volunteer. They do a great job matching mentors and mentees and provide all of the training material you would ever need. Being a mentor the past 2 years has been a very rewarding experience. Such a small sacrifice of time for such a big impact on the life of a young student. TFED did a wonderful job matching me with my mentee who I plan to continue visiting next year. Sign up!!

I have had the same volunteer for four years. He visits once a week to help out with small groups during reading instruction. He helps with projects and does special activities with the children. The children look forward to his visit and cannot wait to see the wonderful things they are able to do and explore because he makes time in his busy week to help us. I wish he could come all day every day! Together4Ed is an amazing outreach program. I consider myself very lucky to have my volunteer.

This is an amazing volunteer program. I had my first day today helping with math for a 3rd grade classroom. Very rewarding! Lots of fun. Kids are excited to have other people come in and help them!
