Description

The primary project of The Wade Edwards Foundation, the Wade Edwards Learning Lab (WELL) is an after-school computer-lab and academic support facility. Conveniently located across from Broughton High School (BHS) at 714 Saint Mary's Street, the WELL primarily serves BHS students, but also welcomes student members from across Wake County. The WELL offers free access to computers, the Internet and email. Members of the BHS National Honor Society tutor in our supervised study hall, which BHS faculty member Elizabeth Lewis coordinates (she also offers help in Spanish). In addition, study rooms are available for small-groups after school and in the evenings, making the WELL an ideal place for friends to meet before the big test or to prepare that group project.
