Mission Statement

We rescue homeless and abandoned felines and provide them food, shelter and medical care and find therm suitable homes.

Description

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity dedicated to finding loving homes for homeless cats and kittens. We use foster homes as well as simulated homes to prepare the felines for adoption. Our adoption center is a nurturing cageless home environment. It also provides a home-like atmosphere in which the prospective adopter can get to know each cat.

Our charity is a true labor of love. We are an all-volunteer organization, and 100% of donations go directly to feed, house or provide medical care to our felines.

I have been volunteering with LIFAC for close to 2 years now and I couldn't imagine volunteering anywhere better. The facility is clean, odor free and very homey. All the cats are happy and comfortable with people. And it is a cage-free environment. If you are looking to volunteer, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer shelter or another group of people who are truly in it for the cats.

I have been a cat owner all of my life and have volunteered briefly in the past at a different shelter. This adoption center is IMMACULATE. Believe me, I help clean there once a week. The cats are content. They are cage-free and in perfect health. All of their needs are met. There is NO cat odor. If anyone is looking for a place to help out or for a cat to adopt, this is the place.
