At Ivey Ranch Park we offer a variety of services including a childcare program, in home respite, therapeutic riding, horse lessons, horse camp, community garden plots and special events. This makes a variety of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are how we are able to do what we do for the children and Ivey Ranch Park and we appreciate their hard work and support.
Mission Statement
The Ivey Ranch Park Association is dedicated to encourage the interaction of disabled and able-bodied children, of all ages, by providing educational and recreational activities. Since 1983 we have served children and adults with disabilities but will not exclude the able-bodied, since integration, inclusion and interaction are important components of our program. Serving over 75 individuals a month, our essential goals are community integration, community participation, personal choice, self-respect and respect for others and competence and self reliance. Currently over 2/3 of our children here at Ivey Ranch have moderate to severe disabilities which include behavioral disorders, genetic disorders, and disabilities caused by accident or trauma.
