To promote volunteerism as a means of fostering increased citizen involvement in the community and enabling public and private non-profit agencies to enhance or maintain needed human services.

Description

Non-profit agencies in need of volunteers submit requests to the Volunteer Center detailing their volunteer positions. The Volunteer Center recruits volunteers for these agencies, matching volunteers to those requests and assisting agencies in their daily operations, fundraising efforts and delivery of services to the community. Volunteers that are looking for ways to become involved in our community contact our office to find out what volunteer opportunities are available and possibly of interest to them and obtain vital information regarding the agencies.

Volunteerism is an oportunity that not all have experienced, but all can benefit from. I live in Victorville, and work and provide services in the Mojave area and East Kern County. I've notified 3 agencies in the area that can benefit the county as well as thier local community to consider working with this agency. My thoughts. Diana Piagentini Mojave Groove the Movement......
