At TechSoup Global, we are working toward a time when every NGO and library on the planet has the technology resources and knowledge they need to operate at their full potential.

Description

TechSoup.org provides nonprofits in the US and Territories learning resources, including articles, blogs, free webinars, and forums led by expert hosts are available to all users. Once qualified with TechSoup, nonprofits and libraries can access 400+ technology products from more than 40 donor partners -- including Microsoft, Adobe, Cisco, Intuit, and Symantec.

TechSoup involves volunteers primarily online. TechSoup volunteers answer questions on our Community Forum, write blogs and articles to help nonprofits with their use of technology, participate in events in Second Life, and more.

Sometimes I work for TechSoup, helping with the online community forum, and sometimes I volunteer for them, on the forum or presenting a webinar. I want to help nonprofits to leverage the Internet to do the great work that they do, and to me, there's no better avenue for this than via TechSoup. I like that all I have to do is jump in and start helping - if you have good info to share, you get immediately appreciated by both TechSoup and the community.
