More About Our Senior Center...

Founded in 1974, the Park Slope Senior Center has been serving individuals 60 and older. We are dedicated to enhancing the health, well being and interests of our membership by offering a wide variety of programs and classes: digital photography club, social media, computer practice and instruction, Salsa, indoor walking, Tai-Chi, chair yoga, billiards, relaxation meditation, creative writing, a book club, bingo, dancercise, chorus, knitting/crocheting, drawing and art, tables games, brain and body exercise, beginner Spanish conversation group, the F.A.N. food distribution, as well as a wide variety of cultural and educational day trips. Our guest speakers present information and enjoyment on many different topics of interest to the membership.

Our nutritious lunches reflect the cultural and ethnic food preferences of our membership. And-we have a great time together-lots of fun celebrating at our monthly birthday parties!

The Park Slope Senior Center also provides case assistance, information and referrals and advocacy to low income seniors who made need assistance with applications for entitlements and benefits.

Our 40 Year History of Service to seniors in the Park Slope community is reflected by the active support and participation of volunteers, local businesses, faith and civic groups and political organizations.
