Mission Statement

Everyone A Reader, established in 1995, is a standards- based program with the goal to provide trained volunteer tutors to work with targeted elementary students in partnership with San Diego County schools.

Would you recommend Everyone A Reader Volunteer Program?

This is one of the most rewarding things I've done! If all children have strong reading skills, our chances of a better society are improved, and this program makes that happen. Getting to see progress for each child I read with is a joy. I recommend this for anyone who has 1 or 2 hrs a week to share.

I like helping the students comprehend their stories and see the progress in just a few weeks.
