Music for the Mission is entirely volunteer. Every dollar feeds, clothes and shelters people in Central New York.
Music for the Mission will host a series of concerts evolving in size and stature over the next twelve months. The first concert is slated for February 19, 2010, with the larger concert venue to follow in Summer 2010. Local, regional, and national artists who are passionate about feeding and sheltering our neighbors will attract audiences across all sectors of the community...those familiar with the Rescue Mission and more importantly, those unfamiliar with it and the people it serves.
In supporting and volunteering Music for the Mission, you immediately help to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, clothe and care for the needy. We will be working hard to raise funds for various groups around town, like Food Bank and the Rescue Mission.
Mission Statement
Music for the Mission is a new charitable organization, bringing the Central New York community together to fight hunger, homelessness and other issues that ordinary, good people are facing everyday, right here on our streets.
