H.A.I.L supports the belief that teaching of the arts is necessary and they should be intertwined with the teaching and learning of reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies and computer technology.

Joanne Henson is an amazing woman that has a great drive and motivation for her organization. Her passion for helping to promote art and art awareness within the Washington, DC area are very inspiring. I feel that HAIL(Henson Arts in Learning) goal to have art education in schools and to teach kids about art and the techniques required for it will establish a base that will payoff in the future as these kids mature and grow . It was truly inspiring to work with her and hear her talk about the program and I would continue working with here in the future.
