Would you recommend United Way of Summit, New Providence and Berkeley Heights?

Hi there! I am a Co-Chair of this event, seeking your support. The United Way of S, NP, BH Day of Caring is a meaningful way for individuals in our local communities to help neighbors or neighborhood support agencies that receive United Way funds. Particularly in today's econonic climate, finding a way to "give" to people in need - and I'm not talking about monetary giving per se - is extremely important and gratifying. And what we do are the little things that bring a smile and thank you: for example, last year while raking the home of someone who could no longer get it done, he brought out doughnuts and juice and had a huge smile on his face. This year, we'll rake again but we are going deeper: we are cleaning up areas within our communities, we are offering job searching and training, and also helping certain agencies with painting tasks, etc. We are looking for volunteers to perform a variety of tasks. Please join us!!! Hope to see you, Ian
