Mission Statement

ComputerCorps is a Internationally recognized 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization dedicated to providing access to computer technology and training for all families, while eleminating eScrap from our nations' landfills.

ComputerCorps is the official partner for the 2014 Reno Earth Day event that will be held on April 27, 2014 from 10:00 - 5:00 at Idlewild Park in Reno, NV.

Description

Our Goals Are: 1. To receive older generation computers and electronics from individuals, businesses, and community organizations 2. To refurbish, repair, and upgrade these items 3. To donate computer equipment to deserving individuals, organizations and schools at little or no cost 4. To train people in basic and intermediate computer technical skills - both software and hardware 5. To provide volunteer opportunities for individuals to assist in the training of others 6. To encourage community sponsorship for recipients of computers and training 7. To recycle unusable parts and metals in order to reduce landfill waste
