Would you recommend The Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia?

First of all I don't know what I am volunteering for. I just know I want to give back to my community. Maybe once I've started giving some time back then I can comment on if I really would recommend this organization to a friend. I do know that the Salvation Army helps a lot of people. They helped me and my family when I was a child.
