The purpose of the Volunteer Department is to place compassionate, well-trained volunteers who will provide quality services and customer satisfaction; to create an atmosphere of cooperation between the volunteers, and staff, patients, and guests of the hospital; to do these things with an attitude of respect, courtesy, and friendliness. Though our first goal is service, we also are major fundraisers for various hospital and community agencies.
Mission Statement
To give volunteers the opportunity to assist the hospital and to carry out such projects as will enhance and supplement patient care and morale. To provide services to make the patients comfortable and provide appropriate help to visitors and staff of Cabell Huntington Hospital.
