NESA is an ecumenical organization, sponsored by area churches, local business and civic organizations and local government which is designed and organized to deliver the services identified in the mission statement.

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Northeast Senior Assistance (NESA) is to assist persons sixty years and beyond living in the northeast San Antonio area who are isolated and lack adequate social support. Volunteers provide needed services, including medical appointment transportation, grocery delivery services, and minor home repairs to help clients live independently in their own homes.

They provide a valuable service in helping seniors remain independent in their own homes when there are no family members or friends to assist them in shopping or getting to doctor's appointments. You need to know your information about their location is incorrect: 2903 Nacogdoches Road San Antonio, TX 78217-4522 Their telephone numbers are still the same: Office: 210-967-4558 Facsimile: 210-967-6372 I can no longer find their web site, but you may contact Pat Ogle, the Volunteer Coordinator, at patogle@sbcglobal.net to get their current information.
