Mission Statement

L.A. Shanti is a non profit organization dedicated to provideing support to those affected by a life threatening illness, with promary focus on this affected by HIV/AIDS. Shanti service include education and emotional support through group and individual counseling. These services are extended to those diagnosed with a life threatening illness, their loved ones, concerned others and care givers. All services are free of charge and accessible to all. Shanti believes that each person can find his or her own solution to issues that arise when living with a life threatening illness. Shanti provides its services as tools to be used by its clients in resolving those issues.

Description

L.A. Shanti is an AIDS Service Organization located on Los Angeles California. Our services include weekend seminars ("Positive Living For US", "Vidas Positivas", "Women For Positive Living") prevention outreach, couples workshops, relationship skills building workshops and emotional support groups. All our services are facilitated by professionally trained volunteers.
