Respiratory Health Association of Metropolitan Chicago, aka RHA, is strongly committed to its mission. In short, the mission is to "promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy and education." I have been an active volunteer with them since 2007. I enjoy volunteering for them on their various events. The staff is friendly, caring, smart, honest, responsible, fun, professional, diverse, energetic, and all that! RHA is well recognized in the city of Chicago for their many accomplishments. An important one that comes to mind is The Smoke Free Illinois Act. If you don't know about them, I recommend that you peruse their website (www.lungchicago.org). RHA welcomes individual volunteers as well as groups and you're sure to have a successful experience if you volunteer with RHA. ~RHA all day, everyday~
