Berks Community Action Program, Inc.

Mentors meet one hour per week, at least, one-on-one with their mentee. Most of the time visits take place in the school during the school day initially and evolve in outside meetings as well.

Mission Statement

Y.E.S.Mentor Program in partnership with the Reading School district, works to establish relationships between students, first grade through twelfth grade, with a positive adult role model for the purpose of encouraging academic success, consistent school attendance and overall good school citizenship. It also works to develop an overall community awareness of the issues faced daily by many inner city youth.
