Caritas is a great place to volunteer or intern. There are a wide range of opportunities for people to become involved (working in the community kitchen,volunteering to help at Turkey Trot, internships, holding food drives, working directly with clients, etc.) and every opportunity is very rewarding. I have interned for the past 2 months and have been given ample opportunity to contribute in real ways to Caritas as an organization. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and it is a wonderful environment for a new volunteer or intern. I would HIGHLY recommend this organization to anyone looking for either a day of service or a long-term volunteer experience!

How can you volunteer here? The phone is not answered except supposedly Tuesday's at 8 a.m., though I have yet to get through. Calls are not returned. THE PUBLIC ALSO HAS NO PHONE ACCESS TO CARITAS SO HOW CAN THEY REALLY BE DOING THE WORK THE CLAIM TO DO???
