Guardian Ad Litem Program - 8th Judicial Circuit

The Guardian ad Litem Program is a volunteer based, State program in which volunteers, supervised by GAL staff, represent abused and abandoned children in court. They investigate, monitor and report to the court the child's welfare and make recommendations as to the best interests of the children.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Guardian ad Litem Program is to advocate for the best interests of children who are alleged to be abused, neglected or abandoned and who are involved in court proceedings.
